• Property details — such as year built, square footage (auto-populated from public records when available)
• Maintenance events — records you add to your property timeline

Usage Data

We automatically collect limited technical data:

• Page views — which property pages are visited (anonymized)
• Browser type and device — for responsive design optimization

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected information to:

• Operate the Platform — display your property pages, manage your account
• Authenticate your identity — verify property ownership claims
• Communicate with you — send buyer inquiries, platform updates, and support responses
• Improve the service — understand how the platform is used to make it better

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• Public property pages — your property address, uploaded documents, and property details are visible to anyone who visits the property page. This is the core purpose of the Platform.
• Service providers — we use trusted third-party services to operate the Platform:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — document storage and hosting
  • Google — authentication (OAuth 2.0)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
• Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or legal process

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Railway. Documents are stored in encrypted Amazon S3 buckets. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted document storage (Amazon S3)
• OAuth 2.0 authentication (no passwords stored)
• Regular security reviews and updates

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies & Analytics

PropertyCredentials uses minimal cookies, limited to what's necessary for the Platform to function:

• Session cookies — to keep you signed in during your visit
• Authentication tokens — to securely verify your identity
